Our company

Matt Blaylock (aka “Big”) has been working in the sporting goods industry for over a decade.  After years of learning the industry, he was compelled to start his own company after identifying a need to serve customers more attentively.  As a result, on November 5, 2019 he started Big’s Sports Company (“Big’s Sports”).  “I want Big’s Sports to be customer-centric at its core.  We are hyper-focused on providing the best customer experience by offering quality products delivered on-time and at competitive prices.  If we do what we say, our customers will keep coming back and we will continue to grow in the market.” Matt was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  He played youth athletics in Mandarin and ultimately attended Mandarin High School where he was a standout player on the basketball team.  He later graduated from Florida State University and then began his career in the sporting goods industry shortly after.  Matt lives in Ponte Vedra, FL with his wife Brienna and their three young children Henry, Sawyer and Annie.  Matt thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  Matt’s oldest son Henry has already expressed an interest in joining dad at Bigs telling Matt, “one day you will work for me there!”
